Warranty Information

Your new purchase comes with a manufacturer’s warranty; because we strongly believe in the quality, design and craftsmanship of our products. Your sleep set is warranted against manufacturing defect(s) in workmanship and material (excluding covers) as stated on the law tag.

Any claim must fall within the time frame and the expressed terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. If you observe a defect, please contact any American Mattress location and they will assist you with all warranty questions and inspection procedures.

The manufacturer’s representative alone will determine whether the product is covered under its warranty. American Mattress does not have the authority to circumvent the manufacturer’s decision or to expand or modify its warranty. A copy of the sales receipt must be provided for all warranty claims and must be the original purchasing consumer within the duration of your warranty. Inspection fees and/or delivery fees are additional. Any staining or soiling of a mattress will void the warranty. The purchase and use of a mattress protector is highly recommended.

Warranty Process

American Mattress is always here to help. In the event of a possible product defect, please follow these simple steps to completing a warranty inspection. Although warranties are extended by the manufacturer, we choose to be involved and help you every step of the way.

  1. Remove the sheets form your bed and inspect your mattress.

    • Look for stains - Stains of any kind will void all manufacturers warranties.
    • Verify the manufacturers legal tag is still attached at the top of your mattress.
    • Be sure that the mattress has proper support - Center support is needed to keep any king or queen size mattress supported.
    • Metal bed frames need at least 1 center support with at least 1 foot touching the floor.
    • Wooden bed frames require at-least 5 supports with at least 3 feet touching the floor.
  2. Visit any of our 100+ locations.

    • Talk with any of our helpful sales associates to help complete the warranty claim process.
    • A sales receipt from the original purchase is required, and is the customer’s responsibility to provide at this time. Without the receipt your warranty can not be processed.
    • Complete the paperwork scheduling an inspection from Premier Inspections. The required inspection/re-delivery fee will be collected at this time- $59.99
    • Premier Inspections will then contact you to schedule an inspection date and time. (Typically within 2-3 days)
    • Premier Inspections will then complete a thorough inspection; checking the product for any product defects or flaws, stains and proper support.
  3. Receive inspection results.

    • The store manager will then contact you with the inspection results.
    • If the warranty claim is approved- the manager will then help you select from our current lineup and help select a replacement.
    • Be sure that the mattress has proper support - Center support is needed to keep any king or queen size mattress supported.
    • If the inspection is denied - the manager will help assist you in finding a solution concerning your mattress.
    • Approved or declined, we will always be her here to help.

Guarantees and Protection Plans

30, 90, or 120 Night Comfort Guarantee

American Mattress will gladly exchange your mattress set for one of equal value or as a credit against a mattress set of greater value only. No credits or refunds will be issued. This comfort guarantee is a one-time exchange valid for 30, 90, or 120 days; does not apply to the exchanged bed and requires a 15-30 day minimum trial. A copy of the sales receipt must be provided for any comfort guarantee exchange.

Restrictions

There are no exchanges on Special Orders, Out of State Deliveries, Adjustable Bases, Daybeds, Bunk Beds, Headboards, Futons, or Accessories. Floor Models and Closeouts do not qualify for a comfort exchange. Redelivery for a comfort exchange is additional.

American Mattress guarantees that our prices are the lowest you’ll find. If you happen to find the same or comparable item locally advertised at a lower price; just let us know and we will match that price.

Extended Warranties

Sleep Easy Guarantee

American Mattress provide a hassle free mattress buying experience.

This option allows customers to purchase an extension of the Comfort Guarantee. For a period of 6 or 12 months, the customer can exchange their product for FULL credit. If you’re uncomfortable, we’ll gladly exchange it.

  • 6 Month Extension: $99.99
  • 12 Month Extension: $149.99

Protection Plans

Power Base Protection Plans

When purchasing your new adjustable bed, you’ll want to make sure your investment is protected. Buying a Power Base Protection Plan will provide the parts and labor necessary to repair or replace the electrical components of your power base for years to come.

The Power Base Protection Plan will protect you power base’s electrical components against mechanical and electrical breakdown, including lightning and electrical surge, and the labor to repair or replace the powerbase lifting and lowering mechanism.

You will receive unlimited repairs or replacement up to the purchase price of your power base. All repairs being made in your home by qualified and insured technicians.
